23 July 2017 • LEARN TO WEAVE

This was a fabulous workshop. I learnt all the basics to get me going and finish the piece confidently at home. The handmade loom kit with tools and bag that you get to keep are beautiful. The instructor was lovely and knowledgeable and the cuppa tea and cake was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

I attended a beginner's class in Weaving last Sunday. Amanda was the teacher with Nichola assisting: they were a great combination. The class size was ideally small with lots of individual attention available. Amanda was well organised and allocated her time across the various techniques. The class could have benefited from an additional hour to allow for the integration of the finishing of a piece from theory into practice but even with the allocated three hours, I would recommend this class. Nichola's little touches of a cuppa with a slice of home-baked cake was memorable. Well done gals and thanks for bringing this to the West!

Great weaving class for beginners! Love the studio space, has a very cool vibe and everyone was so friendly. And you get a loom frame to practice at home...! Id def come back for other workshops.
